Peach Jam


I really loved this recipe.  I cut the peach into big chunks, when the jam is ready, you can still see pieces of peaches inside the jam.  A really nice texture.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ lb Peach, cut into chunks

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice

Preparations:

1. Peeled and cut peaches into chunks.






2. In a wide pot, bring the fruit, sugar and lemon juice to boil over medium-high heat, stir occasionally.





3. Reduced heat to medium and cook, stir constantly.  Cook for about 30 minutes until mixture begins to look like syrup and thicken lightly.  The jam should be about 210 – 220 degree F.



4. Store jam in an air tight container.  Jam can refrigerate for 2 to 3 weeks.
