Palmiers


Palmiers are crispy buttery cookies made by puff pastry. This heart shape cookies look fancy and elegant, but they are very easy to make.


 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Sheets Puff Pastry, 10” by 10”

  • ½ Cup Sugar


Preparations:


1. Lay a sheet of puff pastry on the workspace. Sprinkle ¼ cup of sugar evenly over the top of the puff pastry.

2. Fold the left and right side of the puff pastry to the center. Sprinkle sugar on top. Fold again.

3. Fold the puff pastry again. Sprinkle sugar on both sides.

4. Wrap the puff pastry log with plastic wrap, chill for 20 minutes.

5. Cut into ¼ inch slices.

6. Place cut side up 2 inches apart on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle lightly with 1 tsp sugar.

7. Bake at 400 degree F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
