Mussel is always a popular dish in the restaurant. What about making them at home? This dish is so simple, and will be ready in minutes. Great for weeknight cooking.
Ingredients:
2 lbs Fresh Mussels
6 slices Bacons (diced)
1 Large Onion (diced)
3 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 Large Canned Diced Tomato
2 pcs Bay Leave
1 Cup Mushroom
1 Cup White Wine
1/2 Cup Whipped Creamed (35%)
2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Preparations:
1. Heat Olive Oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add bacons sauté until brown and crispy.
2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until just starts soften.
3. Add white wine, canned tomato, bay leaves and mushroom, bring everything to a boiled.
4. Add whipped cream, butter and mussels. Cover and steam over high heat until mussels begin to open, about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
Tips:
Left over sauce can be used as pasta sauce for the next day.
