Honey Roasted Peanuts


This receipt is surprisingly delicious.  I don’t usually eat peanut, but I can’t keep my hand off this snack/candy.  This is a good idea to bring to a Christmas Party.  Or bag it up as party favours.

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 cup Raw Peanuts

  • 3 tbsp Honey

  • 3 tsp Vanilla

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 4 tbsp Water

Preparations:

1. In a medium sauce pan, add sugar, honey, water, vanilla and salt.





2. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolved.

3. Add peanuts.  Stir occasionally.  Cook until mixture dried out.



4. Preheat oven to 400 degree F.

5. Spread peanuts onto a baking pan.

6. Bake for 20 minutes, stir every 5 minutes to prevent peanuts from burning.

7. Remove baking pan from oven.  Stir peanuts to distribute the caramel on baking pan.

8. Let cool on baking pan
