This is one of the best Chocolate Chip Cookies I ever had. Soft inside and crispy outside. It’s best with toasted chopped nut, but I didn’t add this time since I’m making this for my kids.
Yield: 60 cookies
Ingredients:
1 Cup Butter
¾ Cup Packed Brown Sugar
½ Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 2/3 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/3 Cup Cocoa
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
1 ¼ Cup of Chopped Nuts
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
2. In large bowl with electric mixer, cream together butter, packed brown sugar and granulated sugar.
3. Beat in an egg and vanilla extract.
4. In medium bowl, mix together all purpose four, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
5. Fold flour mixture into creamed mixture.
6. Stir in Dark Chocolate Chips and chopped nuts.
7. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 5 minutes then transfer to rack to cool completely.
