Cinnamon Bread


After having whole wheat bread for a while, it's time for a change, what about a tasty cinnamon bread. This savory bread is light and delicious. A little bit of cinnamon goes a long way.

 

Yield: 1 loaf

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 130 g Milk

  • 60 g Egg

  • 125 g Utane Starter (See Utane Recipe)

  • 30 g Cultured Butter

  • 50 g Sugar

  • 5 g Salt

  • 315 g Bread Flour

  • 85 g Cake Flour

  • 11 g Milk Powder

  • 10 g Instant Dried Yeast

Filling:

  • ¼ Cup Sugar

  • ½ tsp Cinnamon

Preparation:

1. Add all ingredients into the breadmaker in the order listed.

2. Select the Dough Mode.

3. When the Dough is done, transfer the Dough to onto a cleaned floured surface. Divided the Dough into 3 pieces Knead into ball shaped. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.

5. Shaped the dough. Flatten dough pieces.

6. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on one side of the dough.

7. Roll the Dough. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the surface.

8. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the bottle of the bread pan.

9. Arrange the dough on bread pan.

10. Let rest in a warm place until it is doubled in size.

11. Preheat oven to 375 F.

12. Baked for 20 minutes.
