Chocolate Ganache


Yield: Enough icing for 24 cupcakes

Chocolate Ganache is another option of frosting/icing a cake or cupcake.  Nice thing about using chocolate ganache, they are don’t get too soft or melt easily like buttercream in warm temperature.

Ingredients:

  • 300g Dark Chocolate

  • 150ml 35% Whipping Cream

Preparation:

  1. Heat cream in a microwave save medium size mixing bowl for 1 minute.

  2. Remove cream from microwave, add chocolate.

  3. Let chocolate sit for about a minute to melt.

  4. Stir until the chocolate are all melted.

  5. Set aside to cool.  The mixture will be thin now, but it’ll thicken up once it’s cool.

  6. The ganache is ready when it has a pudding consistency.  If it’s too hard, microwave for 10 sec.
