This is the best chocolate cookies ever. The dough can be stored in the freezer and freshly made cookie will be ready in 15 mins.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Rolled Oats
2 1/4 cups All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
2 Eggs
3 cups Dark Chocolate Chips
1 cup Chopped Walnuts
Preparations:
1. In a small mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and rolled oats. Mixed well.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Mixed until just combine.
4. Add flour mixture. Mixed until combine. Be careful not to overmix.
5. Add chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Mixed until it's evenly distributed.
6. Line a freezer box with parchment paper. Using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookie dough into balls and place onto the parchment paper. Cover well. Freeze the cookie dough for at least 4 hrs or overnight.
7. Preheat oven to 350 F. Place the cookie dough onto the baking sheet with parchment paper at least 2 inch apart. Bake for 15 mins.
8. Bake for 15 mins. Allow to cool completely on a cooling rack.
