Chinkiang Pork Ribs (鎮江排骨)



This recipe is so simple that it can never go wrong.  Want a simple and delicious meal while you don’t have much time for cooking, this is a very good choice.  This dish goes well with steamed rice.


 


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Pork Ribs (一字骨)

  • 3 slices Ginger

  • 2 clove Garlic

  • 3 tbsp Chinkiang Vinegar (鎮江香醋)

  • 1 tbsp Shoa Hsing Rice Cooking Wine (紹興酒)

  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce

  • 1 cup Water

  • 100 g Brown Sugar (片糖)

  • ¼ tsp Salt


Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan.  Saute ginger, garlic and pork ribs.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients into a saucepan.

  3. Bring it to boil over medium heat.  Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until the sauce is thicken, and the pork is soften and caramelized.
