Cheesy Bread Strips


This is a soft bread strips that is ideal for dipping in sauce. Make a perfect meal when served with pasta.

 

Yield: 18 pieces

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 65 g Milk

  • 60 g Egg

  • 75 g Utane Starter (See Utane Recipe)

  • 30 g Cultured Butter

  • 30 g Sugar

  • 6 g Salt

  • 195 g Bread Flour

  • 90 g Cake Flour

  • 11 g Milk Powder

  • 8 g Instant Dried Yeast

Topping:

  • 20 g of Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preparation:

1. Add all ingredients into the breadmaker in the order listed.

2. Select the Dough Mode.

3. When the Dough is done, transfer the Dough to onto a cleaned floured surface. Divided the Dough into pieces, 30g each. Knead into ball shaped. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

4. Shaped each dough into long strips.

5. Roll onto cheddar cheese.

6. Arrange dough on baking pan.

7. Let rest in a warm place until it is doubled in size.

8. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.

9. Baked for 15 minutes.
