Cheesy Bacon Bread Row

This is one of the best bun I've ever made. They are gone in no time once they came out of the oven. It tasted even better if you add some chopped Prosciutto with the bacon.

Yield:  Makes 2 row (9 pcs each)

Ingredients:

  • 65 g Milk

  • 60 g Egg

  • 75 g Utane Starter (See Utane Receipe)

  • 30 g Butter

  • 30 g Sugar

  • 6 g Salt

  • 195 g Bread Flour

  • 90 g Cake Flour

  • 11 g Milk Powder or 1 tbsp Condensed Milk (Optional)

  • 8 g Instant Dried Yeast

Preparation:

  1. Add all ingredients (except Butter) into the breadmaker in the order listed.

  2. Select the Dough Mode. When all ingredients come together, add butter.

  3. When the Dough is done, transfer the Dough to onto a cleaned floured surface. Divided the Dough into pieces, 30g each.  Knead into ball shaped.

  4. Knead each piece to 22 cm long.  Curve left and right ends to the center.

  5. Arrange on a baking pan into 2 row 9 pieces each.

  6. Let rest in a warm place for 40 minutes, or until it is doubled in size.

  7. Brush on a layer of egg wash.

  8. Top with a layer of diced spring onion and chopped bacon.

  9. Squirt on some salad dressing and grated cheese.

  10. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

  11. Baked for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
